We’re back at one of my favorite venues the Abbey at the Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastopol, CA. for Royal Family Records recording artists, Soulive. This ten year old band has been around and played with some very famous performers like Chaka Kahn and Dave Mathews…  As you will hear they’ve honed their craft and come up with a very cool sound. 

I got a great spot in the just the right place to get some great binaural sound for you.  If you listen with headphones or earbuds you should get the whole effect… so kick back pour a pint of local brew and check out Soulive….

Wooo Man!  That was the first show I’ve been to at Hopmonk where the floor actually was moving and no there was no Earthquake at the time…  That’s not and easy thing to do since the owners of the Abbey have shored it up with tons of cement and steel!  

Thanks to the awesome guys of Soulive and the Shady Horns… Dang that show was fun!...and also thanks to the folks at Royal Family Records for letting me bring these sounds to you.
