Anodea Judith, Ph.D., has been working with the chakras for so long, she should have the word tattooed to her third eye.  Her many books have been considered the definitive works on the subject and include the chakra classic, WHEELS OF LIFE, the psychology owner's manual, EASTERN BODY, WESTERN MIND, the Sounds True audio series, THE CHAKRA SYSTEM, the award-winning video, THE ILLUMINATED CHAKRAS, and this year alone, her newest books won four awards. WAKING THE GLOBAL HEART won the 2007 Nautilus Award for best book on Social Change and a silver medal from the Independent Press Awards known as the IPPY's, while a book she co-authored with Tara Guber, CONTACT: THE YOGA OF RELATIONSHIP, won best book in Sexuality and Relationships, and a gold medal in Yoga/massage/movement.

Anodea has a master's in clinical psychology, a doctorate in mind-body health, and additional trainings in yoga, and many forms of body-oriented therapies.  She travels the world doing workshops and trainings through her organization, SACRED CENTERS.
