Kypris holds a master’s degree in Biology, as well as a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and is a trained and initiated Shamanic Tantra Priestess. She is the cofounder of , author of "Journey to Sexual Wholeness, The Six Gateways to Tantric Sexuality ", and the creator of the Six Gateways system for teaching and learning sacred sexual practice. Initiated on this path by a powerful shamanic healer, Kypris has journeyed in search of spiritual wisdom, beauty, and the open heart through many places on Mother Earth: walking the witch-hunting hills of Salem, MA; bathing in the healing waters of Tahiti and Hawaii, and making love to the austere deserts of Sedona and Anza-Borrego. With the roots of her spiritual practice in Wicca, Kypris was led to tantra through visions of Aphrodite and Shiva, and transformed through solo practice of ritual, energy channeling, bellydance, and yoga. Led to her tantric partner by a powerful shamanic dream, Kypris practices tantra today in tandem, and works as a spiritual coach, healer, and teacher.

Dr. Steven Jay is a native of New Jersey who traveled to the land of California to become a scientist, meditator, and deep student of sacred relationship. He connects to Spirit through his body, his hands drawing strength from the rock he loves to climb, his feet anchoring him to the mountains, deserts, and beaches of California, and his heart connecting him to his tantric partner. Steeped in physics by his Ph.D. training, he began years ago to use the scientific method of hypothesis and experiment to trailblaze a new path to sacred relationship and sexuality, combining his many years of experience of Zen Buddhism, the Alexander method, and nature to create sexual healing practices that produce repeatable results for his students. He has spent the last several years in a spiritually-based intimate relationship with Kypris, walking the path of tantric lovemaking and conscious relationship as a sacred practice. He continues to deepen his learning about love and intimacy through all of his practices, as well as through being an ongoing student of life and relationship. Steven lives in the heart of San Diego, close to the manmade forest of Balboa Park.
