Patricia Van Skaik manages one of the largest genealogy collections in the country, housed at the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Author, web developer, conservator, curriculum leader for distant learning classes, and Trustee of the Ohio Genealogical Society, she lectures widely on the topics of urban, immigration and census research, as well as genealogical librarianship. She currently serves as Project Manager for the preservation and exhibition of the oldest extant photograph of urban America. Patricia holds masters degrees in history and library science and is a graduate of the National Institute on Genealogical Research.
