Guest – Steve Axtell


Steve is a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and director of the Axtell Hypnotherapy Clinic in Golden, Colorado. He has been involved in the mental health field for over 37 years. He has worked with adolescents, and in the area of drug and alcohol rehabilitation and education. For the past 15 years, his focus has been on using Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming to help people make rapid changes in unwanted habits, to overcome the blocks that hold them back in life, and to become healthier, happier, and wealthier.

Steve graduated from Baylor University in 1970 with a degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Counseling. In 1974, he graduated from the U.S. Department of Defense Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation School, and in 1975, from the Rutgers University School of Alcohol Studies. Steve became certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 1994, and did extensive training in Hypnotherapy which lead to Certification with the American Board of Hypnotherapy and the National Guild of Hypnotist in 1997.

Steve is a presenter and teacher who receives invitations to give workshops and seminars internationally as well as across the U.S. He has trained over 500 people in the art and science of Hypnosis to date, and is regarded as one of the top Hypnosis trainers in the country. He is known for his lively presentations that are fun, entertaining, and educational. His workshops and seminars are designed to equip students with tools, skills, and confidence. The focus is always on practical application.

Steve enjoys working with clients from around the country. Coaching, NLP changework, and yes – even hypnosis, are powerfully effective over the phone.
