Robert Jones is the founder and president of robert jones beauty (www.robertjonesbeauty.com). Born and raised in Houston, he is a well-known hair and makeup artist with more than twenty years of experience. His clients include companies such as Neiman Marcus, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Watters and Watters, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, Olay, Avon, Nexxus, Fossil, Michelle Watches, and Levi’s; magazines such as Marie Claire, Elle, Allure, Jane, InStyle, Glamour, Brides Magazine, Elegant Bride, Shape, and Life and Style; and celebrities such as Delta Burke, Diahann Carroll, Sheryl Crow, LeAnn Rimes, Carol Channing, The Dixie Chicks, Bridget Moynahan, and many, many others.

Robert believes he fell into his career as a makeup artist with a little heavenly guidance. When he was young, he was awarded a scholarship by the Museum of Fine Arts in Texas, and began pursuing a career in the arts, but he didn’t find painting to be deep or creative enough and decided to explore acting. Later, he found a way to merge his interests into a highly successful career as a makeup artist.

Today, Robert gives makeup demonstrations to thousands of women across the United States. He also has his own signature line of best-selling brushes and makeup tools, and will soon be introducing a makeup line. His previous books, Makeup Makeovers and Makeup Makeovers: Weddings, have sold more than 100,000 copies worldwide.
