As the president of Retirement Living TV (RLTV), Brad Knight is responsible for leading Erickson's efforts to launch a national television presence targeting the over 70 million Americans age 55+. He is the driving force behind the success of network's ability to reach 30 million homes in the US and Canada, as well as producing close to one thousand hours of original programming in just its first year of existence.
Prior to his role at RLTV, Knight worked at Flextronics, a global electronics manufacturing services provider delivering operational services to technology companies. As vice president and general manager for Flextronics, Mexico, he successfully planned and developed an environmentally-friendly production facility for the company. He also managed customer service and design interfaces, created budgets, staffing and production plans and designed models for monitoring operational and financial performance.
Knight also served as the general manager for Flextronics in Texas and in Malaysia, where he was responsible for lease negotiations, division marketing, contract negotiations, financial planning and day-to-day operations for the company. In Malaysia, he redesigned the company's operational budget to minimize losses and increase productivity and efficiency, which was a key contributor to returning Flextronics to profitability. Prior to Flextronics, Knight served as director of manufacturing at Metcal, Inc., where he managed manufacturing operations and quality control, leading the financial turnaround of the business and restructuring of the organization.
Knight earned his Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from California State University at Chico and served in the United States Army Reserve as a master trainer qualified infantry drill instructor.
